We Could Be the New Grange

How many times have we faced what seemed to be a brand new problem - as farmers, as parents, as citizens - and come to discover that not only is the problem very old, but someone has already provided a solution? The value of history and lessons learned could be its own post, no doubt, but today I want to focus on one of those solutions, because it seems tailor-made for today’s “new” problems, and it was our ancestors in rural America that both identified the problem and created the solution.
